Zennor

Zennor is a village on the north coast of Cornwall approximately 5 miles west of St Ives. There has been human settlement in the area since prehistoric times, and to this day there are megalithic burial chambers in the parish and an  also an Iron Age fort on the headland near the village.

A church dedicated to St Senara has stood in Zennor overlooking the sea since the 6th century, but the current parish church is Norman in origin with additions in 13th and 15th centuries.

Parish records for Zennor list several Grenfell related Baptisms (1792-1866), Marriages (1783-1883) and Burials (1833-1866).
