Madron village is located on an elevated site approximately two miles Northwest of Penzance town centre, with views across Mount’s Bay and St Michael’s mount. The church in Madron dedicated to St Maddern, regarded as the mother church of Penzance, is the location of many Grenfell related Baptisms (1732-1868), Marriages (1592-1912) and Burials (1815-1934).
